David tells us about his career journey from a position as an animal attendant at MD Anderson Cancer Center to an internship where he did a research project studying cortisol production in Rhesus Monkeys, to his current job at Rules-Based Medicine.
What biotechnology program did you attend?
Austin Community College in Austin, Texas. I attended the Biotechnology program.
What can you tell us about your career path?
I started off as an Animal Attendant at MD Anderson Cancer Center. While there, I did an internship and worked on a research project to study cortisol production in Rhesus Monkeys. Now, I do immunoassays at Rules Based Medicine, a CLIA certified laboratory that provides researchers with immunoassay data for one or hundreds of proteins from a single drop of blood serum or plasma.
